How an Open Tap Night Works

It's really quite chaotic, but it's controlled chaos.

  • When you arrive, come to the sign in table and write your name and topic on a sticky note
  • We will stick it up on the wall in a first-come, first-serve basis
  • At the ready time, start doing presentations in that same order
  • We will use a clock to keep you under the time limit, so please practice ahead of time before you present

This is an experiment, but not without precedent. Organizations like Google do what are often called Lightning Talks. Read more about Lightning Talks on Wikipedia.
